MOVHS Cross Country Off road racing series

A Little Info On Us:

  I started Mid Ohio Valley Hare Scramble to give our local Amateur/Pro riders what they deserve. This series is built around the riders not the promoter/owner. This series is built to give all the riders what they want and deserve. I formed this series to support you the racers. As long as you continue to support Mid Ohio Valley Hare Scramble it will be here to support you. If you don't support the series then there is NO series. You can always reach me by phone which is posted everywhere on this website or by email at movhs@yahoo.com. Mid Ohio Valley Hare Scramble is here for the long haul.

A Little Info On Myself and My Family:
  I have always been an upstanding citizen. Yes I had my teenage years but I think I molded into a respectable, trustworthy individual. You can ask any of my friends or family (anyone that knows me) and they will tell you that I am a person that sticks to my word. My family has always been in some form of racing. Whether it be RC cars, motocross, hare scramble, dune buggies, etc. You name it we have done it. I wanted to form a series where families could come out and spend their weekends at a nice family oriented environment. Yes I am very focused on the kids of this sport because they are the future of this sport. I am a very adventurous, family oriented individual. I am a dedicated friend, and father. My kids are # 1 in my life.
  I have a passion for racing. I am sure as most of you go to many different racing events and think "man they need to do this or that". I was the same way. I am very outspoken and say what I mean and mean what I say. So my family said "Rick, why dont you look into doing something on your own?" I looked into it and looked at a few tracks, talked to some landowners, talked to some scoring companies. Here we are today. So my sole intentions in this series is to continue giving back to the racers. As I see it we can only grow in the years to come and continue to give more, and more back to the racers.
  When dealing with life and it's issues I always refer back to a conversation I had with a elder in my life, the conversation went a little like this "We were discussing people and their actions and reactions to situations in life, he said do not lie, cheat, or steal in life it will get you no where fast. Treat others how you would want to be treated. Do NOT be a liar, if you are a liar you are nothing, your word is your bond. " So as an adult that story still sticks in my head. Your word is everything! As long as you do not lie you will earn peoples respect. So that is what I go by in my life. Try to be proactive in situations not reactive.

So on that note, I will do everything I can for you the racers and fans of this sport. by keeping this series as local and So as long as you the racers and fans are part of Mid Ohio Valley Hare Scramble, Mid Ohio Valley Hare Scramble will be a part of YOU! We will be around to support you! So here is to a Awesome 2012 Season!
