NEXT ROUND: Round 1 - Feb. 26, 2012 - Cutler, Ohio Trackside Weather
TEAM MOVHS Bike's - Millfield Ohio June 9, 2010
To start off on Sunday at Millfield we had the Youth Bike Team lineup. We had Bryhan Sims in the Supermini (14-15) class, and we had Dakoda Sims line up in the 85 (12-13) class.
These boys had a rough track ahead of them. From all the rain the day and night before to the quads and UTV's racing the track the day before. Bryhan's line let off an he was off to a great start. He had a little bit of bike trouble his chainguard broke, causing his chain to break on him and he was unable to finish the race. :( Dakoda's line let off , 85 (13-15) and he was off to a great start. We are not 100% sure as their correct finishes yet, as their equipment got mixed up and were credited each others lap times. We do kow that Bryhan got one lap in and Dakoda got 3 laps in. GNCC says that it will be corrected shortly and they do as they say!!
Next we had the AM Bikes line up. These guys were delayd an hour due to another heavy down pour. We had Justin Parsons in the Sportsman B class. Justin did just awesome. He kept it together and pulled off a 6th place finish in his class and 19th overall out of 223 racers. That is a HUGE accomplishment. We are very proud of you! Way to go Justin!
Next the PM Bikes lined up. We had Chris Meadows line up in the 250 A class. This course was nothing to mess with. Chris handled it very, very well. He stayed up there with the best of them. Chris ran 1st in his class for the first 2 laps. He encountered alot of bottlenecks on laps 3 and 4 and unfortunately was pushed back to a 4th place finish in his class. He is a awesome rider and hopefully will get the recogniton that he deserves. Chris was running 14th overall throughout the whole race until laps 3 and 4. He finshed the race with a 24th overall victory! WTG Chris we are proud to have you as part of Team MOVHS as well as everyone else on the team. Keep up the Great work everyone!
MOVHS also had some other dedicated racers out there Sunday for the bike race. In Youth Bikes AM there was Zachary Rohr in the 85 (12-13) class. Chuckie Morrison in the Super Mini (12-13) class. In the Bike AM category there was Brent Payne in 250 C class, Adam Giddings in Sportsman A, Riley Stewart and Derick Kemper in the Sportsman B class, and Matt Gooderham in SuperVet C (35+). In the Bike PM class there was Cody Meeks in the 200 B class.
Zachary Rohr finished with a 3rd place finish out of 17 racers and 24th overall out of 104 racers. Chuckie Morrison finshed 7th place in his class and 40th overall. Way to go boys! Brent Paynewent home with a victory in his class with a 1st place finish and 27th overall out of 223 racers. Wow, what an accomplishment! Riley Stewart got 9th place in his class out of 25 racers and 36th overall out of 223 racers. Derick Kemper didnt get off to as great of a start as he did in the Youth Quads. I am sure there was a bike malfunction. Better luck next time Derick! Adam Giddings finally back after an injury stemming back to April 18th. He did an Awesome job. He had some great competition and he stayed right with them, with a 46th place overall finish out of 223 racers! Hope to see you Sunday Adam!
Matt Gooderham showed up and we had the pleasure of him parking right beside us in the pits. It is always nice to talk to Matt! I think he decided it was the muddiest race he had ever raced in his time and did one lap and chucked it off as a victory as everyone should! We also noticed Cody Meeks in the PM Bikes. Cody must have had some bike trouble and was unable to complete a lap. Sorry, and better luck at the next one ! You all did a awesome job! Way to go everyone! Hope to see you all Sunday out at Momma Sissy's!
