    Transponder Scoring       Feb. 23, 2011

  This year we have made the move to LIVE transponder scoring. This means you will be required to purchase your transponder when you come up to register to race. The cost of the transponders will be $20.00. You will receive your transponder at registration. You will also get one free transponder through out the year. These are high tech transponders and should be handled with care. They will be placed on your helmets and there will be one at registration for demonstration.
  The scoring zone will also consist of a racer TV and a spectator TV. This is for the riders and spectators benefit. These will show you what place that you are in through out the race along with some other stats ( how long the race has been running, how far time wise you are behind the leader, etc.). MotoTally strives to give the racers the best, most up to date, high tech scoring and that is why we choose them to be our scoring company.
  The spectator TV will allow the spectators and families to view what place their racer is in. This TV will scroll through the last 5 racers through scoring, along with scanning through all the classes. At the end of the race it can show the results. These are UNOFFICIAL RESULTS until they are posted at the registration trailer, then they are official. As the scoring software is very dependable there is still room for error that is why they are said to be UNOFFICIAL until posted at registration. Even then there is a window of time to allow any racer to dispute/protest the results. Which is 20 minutes after posting at registration.
